BIO

Driven by her love of materials and process, New Orleans artist Aimée Farnet Siegel creates non-objective two- and three-dimensional works that investigate the energy generated by complementary and contradictory forces. Her raw yet sophisticated aesthetic oscillates between structured and organic, monochromatic and multi-colored, clarity and confusion, safety and freedom.

She is represented by Ferrara Showman Gallery in New Orleans and Spalding Nix Gallery in Atlanta. Her work is included in prominent collections such as the Morgan Stanley Collection, the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Collection, and the Donna snd Ben Rosen collection. Aimee has also completed large-scale commissions including a 48-piece installation for the Four Seasons Hotel, New Orleans.
